How are online surveys executed?

Beehive licenses a survey software called Qualtrics. Qualtrics was uniquely developed to serve the curriculum of academia and was then demanded by students as they graduated and moved out into the world. The software has become so popular that it is now used by 99 of the top 100 business schools and within 1,300 colleges and universities worldwide including every major university in the US. Qualtrics is not only incredibly sophisticated, offering a wide range of question formats and survey functionality, but is also extremely user friendly, making the respondent experience easy and enjoyable.

Where do you get your respondents?

Beehive works with what we consider to be the largest and most reputable online panel company there is today – ResearchNow. ResearchNow, operates both nationally and internationally, spanning 38 countries and is comprised of over 6.5 million active panelists. They offer extensive B2C and B2B profiling, so there are very few audiences we can’t reach. And, due to the robust nature of ResearchNow, Beehive is able to work within limited geography areas (such as a DMA or a radius around a business location) where most other panel companies come up short. In addition to their geographic reach, ResearchNow places a large emphasis on panel quality because, after all, panels are the core of good research. Their panels are research-only, wholly owned and built in a consistent manner to ensure that they are responsive, balanced and reliable. ResearchNow is committed to proven methods for maintaining panel member satisfaction as well as eliminating undesirable respondents.

Aren’t you concerned about “professional survey takers”?

No, we really aren’t. We rely on the quality of our panel provider to eliminate this concern. Survey responses are continuously monitored for patterns, inactivity, or an unrealistic time-to-complete and flagged as undesirable; thus removing them from a study or the panel. And, because our panels are constantly being updated and replenished with new members, we feel confident that data is being collected only from qualified respondents.

What type of deliverables can I expect?

Beehive manages each study from start to finish – from project design to the delivery of the results. For a typical online study, deliverables include questionnaire development and revisions, programming/hosting and functionality testing, sample procurement (including built-in respondent incentives), fielding, data collection and analysis, and a PPT presentation of the research findings including implications and recommendations for how the result impact brand development or business strategy.

Can I have my raw data?

Of course. Your data is your data. It is Beehive’s intent to be as seamless and transparent with your business as possible. We are your partner and only believe in acting in a way that serves your best interest.
